Performance Improvement Leadership(PIL), is a systematic approach to improving productivity and competence of Leaders in an organization. It uses a set of methods and procedures — and a strategy for enhancing the leadership competencies.
Performance Improvement Leadership is implemented through human performance improvement interventions, which are also sometimes called performance improvement strategies. A performance improvement is an effort designed to achieve better results in productivity, profitability, quality work and other related results. An intervention is not a quick fix; rather, it’s focus on long term action plan developing one’s core competencies skills and removing barriers to performance. Barriers are removed through addressing the root cause of performance problems.
This programme is designed to be highly interactive with one main goal of causing participants to “think differently” about their roles, responsibility and accountability of self-improvement. It would provide the participants with knowledge, tools and techniques to develop themselves, their confidence, value of their job, and their value as an individual & as a team.
